Animated GIFs have made a comeback!
Calling for creative works that loop and are less than 3 seconds long!

The technology of animated GIFs (‘Graphics Interchange Format’, or briefly-animated images) has been around since more than 25 years ago, and has recently made a comeback. Unlike smooth video images, animated GIFs are played in a loop with jerky movements. The movements might be very basic and simple, this is precisely why they have made a unique impact on the web.

Loftwork.com is launching an animated GIF contest with Gifpop, a New York-based service that takes GIFs out of the digital world and into the real world as custom cards.

The rule for the submitted GIFs is that the animation should loop and be less than 3 seconds long!

We look forward to receiving many animated GIFs that will show us their great magic. The works that bring beautiful magic to the world will be made into custom cards by Gifpop and given to the creators as a gift!
