“FAB” idea wanted!

What Do You Fab?

On March 7, 2012, Loftwork Inc opened FabCafe, Japan’s first cafe centering on digital fabrication with a laser cutter! FabCafe’s “Fab” has a double meaning: “FABrication”, not limited by the logic of mass production and markets, as well as “FABulous”. FabCafe attracted great attention from creators all over the world (English links is here), and we are now searching for everyone’s “Fab” idea.

The things you can do with a laser cutter.

All you need to bring to FabCafe is an adobe illustrator vector file, which you plug in to the cutter it does the work – in paper, felt, acrylic, wood and other materials too. The café is also stocked with goods like iPhone cases and notebooks prepared, so you can easily come in and craft original goods! Here are the works that creators made at FabCafe
